Most websites in Bangladesh do not fail dramatically. They rot quietly — an expired domain, an unpatched plugin, a backup nobody tested, and a developer who stopped replying. Maintenance is the boring work that keeps that from happening, and we publish what it costs.
We regularly find Bangladeshi businesses whose domain is registered in their previous agency's name. You do not own your own address — you are renting it from someone with no contract to you. If they disappear or you fall out, your website and your business email go with them.
Every domain and hosting account we set up goes in your name, with the login handed to you. If your current provider will not transfer yours, that tells you everything about who they are working for — and fixing it matters more than any redesign.
Keeps the lights on: hosting and SSL renewal, tested backups, security patches, uptime monitoring, and a handful of small content edits each month.
4,000 – 6,000 Tk/month
Everything in Basic, plus ongoing performance work, a larger monthly allowance for content and image changes, and priority response when something breaks.
8,000 – 12,000 Tk/month
Everything in Standard, plus dedicated development hours each month and a written report showing uptime, performance, and what actually changed.
15,000 – 20,000 Tk/month
Hosting cost is separate and it is yours. We do not resell hosting at a markup — it goes in your account, at cost, and you keep it if you leave. These same tiers appear on our pricing page alongside everything else we charge for.
No arguments later
Most maintenance disputes are really scope disputes — the client thinks “small change” covers a new page, the agency thinks it covers a typo. So here it is in writing, before you pay anything.
Why sites fail
Almost every site we are asked to rescue failed the same handful of ways. None of them are exotic, all of them are preventable, and most were avoidable for the price of a few thousand taka a month. Worth reading even if you never hire us.
This is the number one reason businesses come to us. The site was built, the invoice was paid, and then the phone went quiet. Nothing is technically broken yet — but nobody is renewing anything, nobody is patching anything, and the clock is running. If your developer has gone quiet, the urgent task is not a redesign; it is finding out what you still control.
We regularly find businesses whose domain is registered in their agency’s name. You do not own your own address; you are renting it from someone with no contract to you. If they vanish or fall out with you, your website and your business email disappear together. Check your registrar today. If it is not in your name, fixing that is worth more than any redesign.
Sites vanish every year in Bangladesh because a renewal notice went to an email nobody reads anymore. Recovery is possible during the grace period and expensive after it — and if a domain squatter grabs it first, you are negotiating to buy back your own name. Renewals are a calendar problem, not a technical one, which is why they are the cheapest thing to outsource.
Most sites here run WordPress, and most WordPress hacks come through a plugin that was not updated for months. The result is usually pharmacy spam injected into your pages, which Google flags — so you lose rankings and reputation together, often before anyone in the business notices. Patching is boring, cheap, and the whole point.
Plenty of sites have a backup plugin installed. Far fewer have a backup that has ever been restored successfully. An untested backup is a belief, not a safety net. We restore backups periodically on purpose, because the moment you actually need one is a terrible time to discover it never worked.
When SSL lapses, every visitor gets a full-page browser warning telling them your site is unsafe. Customers do not read the detail; they leave. It is a completely avoidable outage that costs you real money for the days it takes someone to notice.
How we work
We ask what your business actually does and where the work is going wrong — before talking about software. If what you need is smaller than what you asked for, this is where we say so. No charge, no obligation.
You get the scope in writing, with a fixed price where the requirements are clear, before any work starts. If something is genuinely unknowable up front, we say that too rather than burying it in an estimate that moves later.
Work ships in agreed stages, and at each one you get something working to click through — not a status update. That means you catch a misunderstanding in week two, when it is cheap, instead of at handover.
Code, hosting, domain, and accounts go in your name. We train your team on the real system with your real data. You are never locked in — if you leave, everything is already yours.
Launch is when the real bugs appear. An agreed post-launch fix period is included in every project. After that, maintenance is a separate retainer with published pricing — not a surprise invoice.
Common questions
Our retainers are published: Basic is 4,000–6,000 tk/month (hosting, backups, security updates, uptime monitoring, small content edits). Standard is 8,000–12,000 tk/month (adds performance work, more change requests, priority response). Premium is 15,000–20,000 tk/month (adds a monthly report and dedicated development hours). Ongoing SEO is priced separately.
Usually yes — this is the most common reason people contact us about maintenance. We need access to the domain registrar, hosting, and codebase. If you do not have those, that is the first problem to solve, and we will help you work out what you actually control before you pay us anything.
You should, always. We set up domain and hosting in your own account and hand you the login. Any agency holding your domain in their own name has your business hostage — this is depressingly common in Bangladesh and it is the single most expensive mistake we see. If your current provider will not transfer it to you, that is your answer about who they are working for.
Included: hosting and SSL renewal, backups (tested, not just scheduled), security patches, uptime monitoring, and a defined number of small content or image changes. Not included: new pages, redesigns, new features, or a rebuild. Those are quoted separately so a retainer never becomes an argument about what "small change" means.
On a retainer we restore from backup and patch the vulnerability. Most hacked sites in Bangladesh are unmaintained WordPress installs where a plugin went un-updated for months. If you are not on a retainer we can still help, but recovery is billed hourly and takes longer, because we are working out what happened without any monitoring history.
If it is a simple static site with no CMS, honestly, maybe not — you mainly need someone renewing the domain and hosting on time. We will tell you if a retainer is not worth it for you. If you run WordPress, take payments, or hold customer data, it is not optional.
