We work from Dhaka on UTC+6. That is a 2–3 hour offset from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and 4 hours from eastern Australia — scheduled calls sit inside both working days without anyone taking a midnight meeting. UK and US sessions are booked into your morning, our evening.

Choosing POS software is mostly about four decisions, and vendors rarely explain any of them. Get these right and the software matters less than you think. Get them wrong and no feature list saves you.
Internet in Bangladesh drops. If your POS needs a connection to ring up a sale, you stop selling during an outage — at the counter, with a queue. Every POS we build works offline and syncs when the connection returns. Ask any cloud POS vendor exactly what happens when the line goes down, and do not accept "it rarely happens".
A thermal receipt printer and a barcode scanner cover most shops. A cash drawer if you take cash. You do not need a branded POS terminal — a basic desktop or a cheap Android tablet runs the software fine. Hardware is where a lot of POS margin hides in this market.
Imported and local goods often arrive without a scannable barcode, and loose items never have one. A working BD POS has to let you generate and print your own labels, and sell by weight. Systems designed for markets where every SKU is barcoded fall apart on a real Bangladeshi shop floor.
A single shop does not need cloud replication and should not pay for it. It earns its cost the moment you have a second outlet and need one stock position and one owner dashboard. Start local, move to cloud when you actually open the second branch — not in anticipation of it.
The counter is run by someone fast on a calculator who may have never used a business system. If billing takes more keystrokes than the old way, they will quietly stop using it and your data dies. We design the sell screen keyboard-first and train on site. This is the most common reason POS rollouts fail here, and it is not a software problem.
Your sales history is your business. Make sure you can export it, and that it is backed up somewhere you control. Subscription POS vendors that hold your data hostage are a genuine risk when you want to leave — ask about export before you buy, not after.

Why design for no internet?
Internet connectivity in Bangladesh can be unreliable, especially outside Dhaka. Every POS we build runs a local SQLite cache and syncs to the server when online. A power cut or ISP outage at 2pm on a Saturday does not stop sales — transactions queue locally and reconcile when the connection returns.
Why not browser print?
We integrate with thermal printers at the serial/USB level — no print dialog, no browser print preview. A receipt prints within 400ms of a completed transaction. We test against Epson TM-T82, Star TSP100, and locally-available Xprinter models common in Dhaka markets.
Why direct API integration?
We integrate directly with the bKash Merchant API and Nagad API rather than routing through a payment aggregator. This cuts per-transaction fees by ~0.4–0.8%. We handle IPN (Instant Payment Notification) callbacks server-side so a dropped connection never duplicates or voids a payment.
Why can't admins delete audit logs?
Every void, refund, or discount creates an audit log entry that cannot be deleted — even by admins. Inventory theft in retail almost always shows up first as unexplained voids. Our audit trail flags suspicious patterns automatically and is the first report owners request after suspecting shrinkage.
