We checked every Bangladeshi website development, POS, and ERP vendor we could find and recorded exactly what each one publishes about price. 63% do not publish a figure a buyer can act on. Here is the full dataset, with sources.

What we found
Buying software in Bangladesh starts with a question a lot of vendors won't answer in public: what does it cost? Ask five POS vendors for a quote and you will get five numbers spanning an order of magnitude, none of them published anywhere you could have checked beforehand. Ask five web developers the same question, and you will usually get a published price list instead.
So we checked both. In July 2026 we visited the public pricing page of every website development, POS, and ERP vendor in Bangladesh we could identify and recorded, verbatim, what each one discloses. Not what they quote privately — what a buyer can read without talking to sales.
Of 16 vendors, 6 publish named packages with exact figures. 3 publish only broad market ranges not attached to anything you can buy. 2 publish partial tiers, naming packages while withholding at least one price. 5 publish no figure at all.
The pattern worth noting: disclosure splits cleanly by category, not by company size. Website development is a crowded, price-shopped market and vendors publish tiered pricing to compete on it. Off-the-shelf POS — sold nearly identically to every retailer — hides pricing almost as often as genuinely bespoke ERP does, where scope varies enough that withholding a number is at least defensible.
The full dataset
Every row records what the vendor published on their own site as of 2026-07-31. Figures are quoted verbatim in the vendor's own billing units. Where a number exists only in a third-party write-up, it is labelled as such and excluded from the disclosure scoring.
Note on currency: these vendors publish in Bangladeshi taka. The figures shown here are approximate conversions at about 120 BDT to the US dollar, marked with “≈”. The taka amount each vendor actually published is the authoritative figure and is what the disclosure scoring is based on — no vendor here quotes in USD.

States e-commerce, booking systems, and multilingual pages are "quoted separately" — a disclosed boundary on what the published price covers, which is itself good practice.
Sample: 16 website development, POS, and ERP vendors serving the Bangladeshi market, identified through search for pricing queries in each category in July 2026. This is not a census — vendors with no web presence, or whose pricing sits behind a login, are not represented.
Method: each vendor’s own public pricing page was read and figures recorded verbatim, with source URL and date. No vendor was contacted, and no private quote was solicited or used.
Scoring: “Full” means named packages with exact figures and stated inclusions. “Partial” means named tiers with at least one price withheld. “Range only” means bands with no purchasable package attached. “None” means no figure.
Third-party figures — prices appearing in someone else’s round-up rather than on the vendor’s site — are recorded for completeness but excluded from scoring, because they cannot be verified against the seller.
Prices change. Every figure is timestamped; treat anything older than a few months as indicative, and check the source before relying on it.
Disclosure is not quality. A vendor that publishes nothing may build excellent software, and a published price says nothing about whether the product fits your business.
We are a vendor in this market and we are in the table. That is a real conflict of interest; the sources are linked so you can check every row against the original.
